AskAMAPS is an integrated inquiry and data retrieval tool within AMAPS+PLUS that allows users to retrieve standard reports or define their own report.
Standard Inquiries are pre-defined for all of the AMAPS+PLUS application modules. The User can modify these standard inquiries by changing the data elements that are displayed, column headings or the sequence of columns and how displays are sorted.
If you want to use multiple formats for the same inquiry, you can make changes and save each version.
If you need to create a new inquiry that is not part of the standard inquiry list, you can create an ad-hoc query by simply pointing and clicking on selection criteria. You can save or modify multiple queries against the same data sets.
Other useful features are the ability to cut and paste data from the AMAPS database into any desktop application and to directly export data into Excel, Word, Access or text(.csv) files.
